Founded in 1996 and re-branded by japanese Rakuten in 2014 - Linkshare is one of the most recognized affiliate networks up to date.
Even though the amount of advertisers is smaller than say, CJ, having brands like Dell and Footlocker makes up for it.
Also, over 1000 is by no means a small number.

The sing up process is quick and easy but partnering with any of the affiliate programs requires the advertiser`s approval.
Minimal payment threshold is the industry standard 50$, payed on demand.

Be sure to check all the additional tools the new Rakuten Affiliate Marketing website has to offer. There`s a lot of them and some are quite unique. However navigating the website is absolutely atrocious at the moment.
